Lost Cat

John Kwiecinski would like our help in locating his lost cat, Heath, who disappeared 2 days ago.  Heath is a grey seal point Himalayan, about 15 lbs with very long whiskers.  He has declawed front paws and is wearing a collar with his owner’s information.  He is also chipped.  If found, please contact John at 296 406 0167 or Lee at 206 240 1601.

Suspicious activity noticed

A black older model Honda or Saturn was seen parked beside the vacant lots on East Golf Course Drive last Saturday.  The driver was seen looking at the homes across the road.  A second male from the car was seen walking up to a home’s front door, snapping a picture of the garage door key pad with his cell phone and returning to the car.  They then drove off.  Both were male.  The driver was heavy set with dark hair.  The second man was taller than the first, with a beer gut.

The police were called and given the car’s plate number.  The observer was told that the plate did not belong to the vehicle being driven.

Genée Kay resigns from the board

We are sorry to report that Genée Kay has resigned from the office of Secretary for the Sea Links Board of Directors.  We knew when she joined us that it would only be a temporary position as Genée had agreed to help us out until other changes in her life occurred.  Genée was instrumental in creating the recent newsletters and we will miss her support and expertise.

July 2016 Board Meeting

The July general board meeting will be held Tuesday, July 12th at Peace Arch Business Center, 8105 Birch Bay Square Street, #205, from 6-8 PM. Guests are welcome. Please see Guidelines for Guests Attending Board Meetings in the Resource Center for guest/presenter guidelines.

Car prowling occurs in community

Two homeowners have reported that their unlocked cars were gone through the night of May 15th.  The glove box and console doors were left open and things were moved around.  But nothing was found missing.  One car was in the owner’s garage where the garage door was accidently left open overnight.  The other car was in the owner’s driveway.  Both cars were unlocked.  As a reminder, be sure to keep your cars locked and outside lights on.
