National Day of Safety Parade

Oct. 5th is Nation Day of Safety Parade. We will be having the fire department, police department, and the ambulance parading around our neighborhood. Please show how happy we are to have all these first responders in our area.

The Board Meeting scheduled for 10 am until Noon on September 25, 2021, has been rescheduled to 10 am until Noon on October 25, 2021. The owner of the meeting location requested this change. There were concerns regarding Covid associated with that location.

Cleanup Thank You

I would like to thank all people that came to the back gate and helped with clean up efforts on Friday :

Shah Kahn from Borderview lawns for providing tools and labor.

Greg Lee for his labor

Kelly Elford and his family for their time and efforts

Sandy Lahn for sharing her tools and efforts.

We hauled off a large trailer of brush and grass that were removed.

Bud Yost for the idea and support of the project.
Job well done by neighbors!

NGCD Paving Project

The NGCD paving project will start on or about July 26, 2021. I expect it to be quicker than WGCD went last year. The people most affected will be the neighbors of Saw Grass Way and the homes just inside the front gate. Finding temporary parking in Wedgewood Court and down WGCD is one option or just past 4763 NGCD down to the small area just before turning onto EGCD. I will be blocking the front gate area by about 7AM on the 26th of July. Equipment will be arriving to start the road grinding in the morning. If paving does not happen on the 26th I would assume it will be the following day. It should cool that day until the following morning, and all will be normal after that. Any questions, please feel free to call me, Steve at (907) 738-7619. I would be happy to answer your questions. Also, I will be walking Saw Grass Way talking to neighbors before the project starts.

Thanks,

Steve Skannes
