General Use Instructions:
The main, front gate (on Birch Bay Lynden Road) is opened with a gate remote or a 4-digit family code. The back gate (on Birch Bay Drive) is opened only with a gate remote. Guests can enter by using the call box at the front gate.
Using the 4-digit family code:
The 4-digit family code is best kept confidential so no one else can use it without your permission. To use the code to open the front gate, enter into the call box key pad the pound (#) button followed by the four digit family code given to you. Push the call box buttons firmly and rapidly. Hesitation while pressing the code numbers will cause the security system to shut down, whereby you must start over.
Guest Access:
Guests gain access to the community by contacting you through the front gate call box. Guests should scroll the names in call box until they locate yours. Attached to your name is a 3-digit number (assigned by Sea Links BOD). When the guest punches this 3-digit number into the Call Box the personal phone number that has been provided is dialed by the call box. After you have confirmed the guest’s identity punch the number 9 on your telephone and the front gate will open allowing the guest to enter.
