Parking and Storage Temporary Variances
The SEA LINKS at BIRCH BAY Board of Directors recognizes that there are times when residents would like to temporarily park vehicles, trailers, portable storage units, or construction dumpsters in their driveways or in front of their homes for lengths of times that are outside what is allowed in the CC&Rs Article III, Sections 17 and 21 and Rule #5, of the SEA LINKS at BIRCH BAY Rules and Regulations.
A temporary variance to the SEA LINKS at BIRCH BAY CC&Rs and Rules may be granted by the Board through the submission of a parking/storage temporary variance request. This form can be submitted via email or regular mail, but the request must be approved prior to parking any vehicle, trailer, or container.
*17 Storage. Vehicles that are not in operable condition and driven on a regular basis, appliances and unused building materials of any nature, and any tools, equipment or recreational vehicles including boats, travel trailers and motor homes may not be kept, maintained or stored on any lot in said Plat unless the same are enclosed in a garage or carport or other screened area as shall first be approved by the Board of Directors.
*21 Parking. Parking for at least, but not limited to, two standard sized automobiles in an enclosed garage or carport and driveway space for an additional two standard sized automobiles. Curbside parking shall be permitted; however, curbside parking shall not be permitted for any boat, trailer, recreational vehicle of any type, inoperable vehicles, nor shall curbside parking be allowed for more than 24 consecutive hours.
*5 Temporary Parking. Recreational vehicles, boats and trailers may be kept in driveways for up to 72 hours for the sold purpose of loading, unloading, cleaning, and washing. NO HABITATION IN THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, BOATS OR TRAILERS IS ALLOWED. Construction dumpsters and temporary storage pods may be kept in the driveway for up to 72 hours. Longer stays for any of the above must be approved prior to parking by submitting a Parking/Storage Temporary Variance Request to the Board of Directors.
